Going price for Ruger Mk.2?

Posted earlier looking for a value guide and got no luck. Now I am seeking knowledge on the value of a handgun offered to me, as yet unseen.
It is a Ruger Mark 2 with a bull barrell in excellent condition with 2 clips and lockable case. Buyer is asking $350 and says it is worth it. Opinions?
This will be my first handgun. Hopefully wife gets hooked on shooting it and then I can buy more

Mk 3, new seen selling from $ 320 - 400 plus tax. Being Mk 2, asking price is on the high side. Depending on how desperate you are in getting a Mk 2, it is still your call. Functionality is identical except maybe for a loaded chamber indicator or something else depending on the year it was manufactured. Otherwise, Ruger Mark 1-3 is a stable platform for a starter pistol. BTW, are you comfortable with the grip size and angle?

Stainless or blued? If it was stainless I would take it at that price.
