Going rate for a 1917 Model US Army Rifle

Hi folks

What is the rough price range of a p17 rifle? It was made in 1918, Only the things done to is its stock has been sporterized as well as the rear sight been knocked out and a detachable scope mount attached. Besides that it has been unaltered. Still have the rear sight.

I just saw one at a dealer with a decent cut stock, rear sight replaced with Williams peep and cut down barrel. Bore was decent but the worst part was that at some point someone ground off all the stamps and proof marks from the receiver leaving only the serial. $89. Not what you have I'm sure but, cutting stuff off those guns really hurts the value. Good that the barrel is uncut and I assume the rear sight can be replaced to original. I would do $250-300 in that sort of sportered state.
