im going to write my pal in the next couple weeks, was just wondering if any one had any advice or a practice test i could try...i have been studying the book and have been around guns my whole life..i just get mixed opinions about how hard or easy it is...thanks

If you've been around guns your whole life and were taught gun safety you will be fine. Also it wouldn't hurt to pay attention during the presentation. I had mine from years ago, but recently brought a friend to get his. I would also suggest challenging the restricted too. It's another $20 and it would save you time if you want to get it later on. Just something nice to have.

you will have no problem.
I was worried about mine to as my POL expired.
No problem 100% the test hardly changed at all.
Just dont point it at anybody and ask all the questions you can if you are unsure about anything your not familar with.

Good luck

You need 80% to pass. Take the Restricted PAL as well. It is worth it.

You should know what the four A.C.T.S are and how to P.R.O.V.E a weapon safe (and when). Its all there in the student book you get. Read it cover to cover and you will have absolutely no problem. Any Instructor or firearms store will sell it to you for $15. Takes about a day to read it, next day go and challenge it for $25(i think) and you'll be all set to send in your paperwork.
