full size single stack 1911 coming, need holster for IDPA.

Doesn't need to be super competition oriented, don't want a strap over the hammer, or a retention button.

I would like quality, but not over the top price wize.

leather would be nice, but a combo of kydex and leather is great too.

I'd like to be able to take it off the belt without taking the belt off.

thanx!!

My wife and I plus a couple guys from work are doing our Black Badge course next month and I was thinking about trying the cheap Blackhawk holster. Only $22 to try it out. I don't know if it is any good though. I think I might watch this to see if there are better recomendations from others with some experience.

Purchased an Uncle Mike's for my 45 1911 recently and I am very happy with it. Brownells out of the US.

Blackhawks work great
