I had a Remington Sureshot stock set on my 870. It is adequate for it's purpose, but the grip contour is a little funky. My teenage daughter shot trap with it, (I know that is not the intended use.) and complained that it hurt her hand in the web area. I have purchased a Hogue stock for it, and she likes it so far.
If I need to shoot turkey's and deer using optics, what is the best stock for an 870 when shooting slugs etc.? Maybe with a pistol grip? I have been wondering if the Magpul with the adjustable height comb heights might be very good?
Any other options?
