good brand of reloader for shotshels

I was wondering if anyone could tell me which is the best kind of reloader for shotshells, and what will it cost me? I would like one that is progressive, not the single stage kind.

There's no real answer here.It boils down to personel preferance.I use an old Pacific 366 that I've had for years.It's now maketed by Hornady using their name.It's probably loaded a hundred thousand shells or more.I'll probably never change.If I had too however,I wouldn't hesitate to use any of the MEC or PW units or if I had lots of cash to spend,the Spolar is right up there near the top.
Expect to spend about $650 for a Hornady,a bit more for the PW and a bit less for the MEC if you're going to buy new.Myself,I always buy used a save a pile of money for powder and shot and the likes.

Check ebay under Reloading Equipment. Reloading tools are not subject to any import/export regulation, and can be shipped to Canada. There are Hornady, Ponsness and MEC machines on ebay continuously.

I only recently received my MEC 9000G (on the advice of most members of my trap & skeet club), but I will also attest that it is really fast and easy to use.

Add another point to the MEC 9000 column for me as well. I started out last fall on a MEC single stage loader and by Christmas I had myself a MEC 9000 as I'm now shooting 150+ rounds a week and the singe stage loader would eat up too much of my time to get that kind of volume done. I can crank out 250-300 in an hour on the 9000.

Used a MEC 9000 and was quite pleased with it for a number of years, but upgraded to a Ponsness Warren about 5 years ago. Great piece of equipment.
