I am purchasing a TenPoint GT Flex Crossbow, I am wondering if anyone out there has any experiences for the best broadheads to use with this. Factory recommends any 100-125gr, but like guns, different stuff shoots differently in different bows. I talked to the guy @ the store he mentioned Grim Reaper "Hades" fixed blade (which I think would be better) or Grim Reaper mechanical, there were some others there too but I didnt have time to look.

i shoot a compound and use grim reaper mechanicals and g5 montecs, both shoot great and fly with my field points. now my buddy has a tenpoint turbo and he shoots the excalibur 150gr bolt cutters. just hearing the thump when it hits the target is great. this head packs a big punch. he shoots 125gr NAP spitifres outta his excalibur. both fly with field points.

thanks for the info. I was looking at a new model excalibur today. i am torn between 2 bows now..lol a TenPoint GT Flex, or the Excalibur Axiom. . .I think I'm just going to go with my gut and go with the TenPoint. I find it is a beter shooting bow than the Excalibur.

I prefer the SLICK TRICK 100gn. They have a durable design and thick blades. I pushed one through two ribs going in 1 rib coming out and 2" of maple.(back of head flush with bark) No illefects on the head.

ya from the crossbows that i have shot, i personally find that tenpoints trigger is superior. they are really sweet bows

I use Montec fixed broadheads in 100gr. Cut through near-side and far-side ribs on my early season buck, still had enough energy to stick into the ground 6".
I'm using an Excal Exocet 200 crossbow.
