Good Bye for now, From Frontier to our Friend Sturm Ruger.

Is Ruger starting to act like Browning?

I have seen Browning Canada literally break the back of some successful small business firearms dealers in Canada in the days of the NEP.

Forcing small successful firms into bankruptcy.

To be honest, does Ruger really produce high quality firearms any longer? And they never did.

Is Ruger going down the Remington railway to the train station?

Both Ruger and Hornady have gone nuts with their pricing. we will see what happens if the insane demand drops off.

Don't forget Sierra aswell, I got a call from thier sales department, to warn me the prices will be going up, I shot the 45, 9 and 30 cal bullets I bought, wish I had not

I remember when a gp100 357 was 7 bills . Shakes head

I have to agree, pricing has gone way up. However, there are more factors at work here than just Ruger increasing their prices. Has everyone seen the price of ammo, gas and diesel, lumber, the price of food and clothing? Everything has been getting very expensive, inflation is through the roof; Canada and the U.S. have been printing money like crazy, meanwhile production of most goods has been shipped overseas to CCP China. I honestly can't really blame Ruger during these times of lockdowns, when the labor force is low and demand is so high.

I hope prices return to more predictable and sane levels, but a lot has to change for that to happen.
