Good case for your long target rigs on sale

I bought it a few weeks ago and its going back. Its not deep enough for any scope with parallax turret. I got x-bolt with a Nightforce and I couldn't even clos it. Save your bucks if you have a decent scope on your rifle. It comes up a few times in the reviews too.
 
Damn I just noticed that its pretty tight once you put the rifle in it. :/

Im thinking of trimming some of the foam for it so it fits better. Stupid idea?
 
That bottom egg crate foam is pretty beefy. I cut the points off off them,where the rifle sits.

Gained a bit,and with my extended bolt knob ,no way.The 56mm obj doesn't help either. Too tight for the rifle I bought it for. lol

Yeah, I just picked one up. The foam needs shaving. Closing the case with a rifle inside requires more pressure than I am prepared to apply. Nice case and nice latches though.
 
If you all get the double rifle case you'll notice it's a lot deeper, I've got 2 of the double cases and have had no problems. You do have to cut the foam out, but I like that..
