Hey there! I was curious about asking folk around here on if they knew of any good thermal scopes under 1000$ that had relatively good magnification for medium to long range, and that might also have a rangefinder on them? Without a rangefinder would be fine as well but having the two paired together would be great! Thanks for your time and help!

I doubt there's anything available for less than a few thousand with a rangefinding feature built into a thermal scope, let alone with decent imaging quality at longer range. Perhaps in a few years, if progress with the tech continues at the present pace. For now, the Sector T20 - https://sectoroptics.com/product/t20x-thermal-imager/ - is around $1,000. Mine works well enough for recognising humans versus dogs, for example, out to maybe 100 yards. For targeting I'd not want to depend on it further than that, and due to low pixel count, the reticle offers no real precision. Tried using it on rats with an airgun, but even at 5 yards I couldn't be absolutely sure of a clean head shot, as I can with an infrared scope to at least 25 yards on the same airgun.

A friend bought one of these. Enabling the reticle was a bit tricky, but he got it working. Hasn't shot with it yet, but even just as a viewer it seems an excellent option.
Sector has the G1T3, around three thousand, with a rangefinder and in-scope thermal view. Not fantastic resolution, but it seems a good system for combining optical and thermal viewing/aiming.
