good commercial ammo suitable for .223 LTR ?

I tried it in my 700 LTR and they worked just fine, 1" @ 100. However please keep in mind every gun is different and it's hard to tell unless you give it a shot.

I've had really good results with rem/UMC 55 gr in .223 - I have been able to get pretty consistent 1" groups at 200M.

I was out the other day & put 7 shots to paper, 6 fell in at close to a 3/4" group at 200M & the 7th was a flyer. Thats with my rem 700 SS heavy barrel. After that I proceeded to enjoy shooting 4" groups at 100M with my mini 14 :)

I suggest getting a box & trying them out - for the money you can't lose.

I just picked up some of the PMC .223 that's available (runs around 0.50$ a shot, similar to the UMC) - I will try it out at 200M to see how it performs.
 
If you want accurate ammo, I would recommend the RUAG GP90 Ordnance. We still have a few cases at clearance prices $599/1000
