Just five short years ago you could buy a box of match .308's in the SMK flavour for a bit over $30 per hundred at any gun store.
$42 at Cabela's? Might be waiting for awhile with them. Then you would have to deal with customer service. Might be easier to make your own SMK than rely on Cabela's for anything that resembles a supply for what arguably is the most common match bullet on the planet.
The price of our hobby and lack of components is what causes me to buy it all up when I see it. Did that 10 years ago and will be using the stuff in my stash the rest of my life. At $60 a box, might dust a few off and make 110% profit in a short five years.
Reloading components perform better than my RRSP's. Way Better.
