I recently latched on to this .22 ammo from Cabelas. With the help of free shipping and some unused gift cards, I got this ammo shipped to the door for $94.00. It should keep me going for a little while. A total of 2750 rounds.

It was shipped by courier, UPS I believe.
I wonder if it actually is the same as the old 525 rd boxes? I bought a couple of the new smaller plastic bottles (450 rd?) with the same labeling as these buckets and had quite a few misfires out of the first bottle I used ..........unfortunately during a .22 Steel Challenge match 
From the details on the packaging I would assume it's the same bulk Federal Champion as before..... IDK...maybe i just got a bad run.
In any event our local CT got in 8 of the old 525 rd cardboard boxes so I went and bought them all. What I have left of the new BYOB stuff will be relegated to plinking or practice for now
