I'm looking to find a good gunsmith in the Calgary area. I need to get a little bit of work done on my rifle as well as my .22 and looking for some input on where to go.
For my rifle, I have a remington 700 mountain rifle in 30-06. I am looking to get the barrel glass- bedded and refloat the barrel as my uncle to told me do that. Then also was considering getting my trigger reduced to try to eliminate me pulling the odd shot.
For my .22 it is an older cooey bolt action, tube feed. I've been having issues with the firing pin, and have some misfiring .22 rounds, especially if i use the CCI stingers, if i use cheap imperials it isn't as bad. So am looking for some suggestions/help with the firing pin. Also could you guys point me in the right direction to get a decent side mounting scope, and mounts for the .22 because the current scope on it has a terrible objective.
