Good info from Kreiger on rimfire cleaning.

The video has much more to say about centerfire and has very little here on rimfire cleaning, except from about 5:00 -5:35. The advice is to use a cleaning rod guide, don't over clean as it can result in barrel damage, and the crown is important. More interesting was the brief explanation of the difference between button and cut rifling (approx. 13:30 - 16:00). Button rifling doesn't take very long, Krieger says, while cut rifling on his barrels takes an hour and up. Not to worry unnecessarily if you have a button rifled barrel, as Krieger says there's nothing inherently wrong with them and they can be quite good.
 
Then there are those of the opinion that cut rifled barrels are inferior for rimfire (though they are excellent for centerfire). I wouldn't put a cut-rifled barrel on a benchrest rifle (rimfire).
