My local Van' dealer told me Federal has a $10.00 rebate program going now. I bought two boxes of Federal Power-Shok 30-06 ($14.99 here in Grow-Op' land) and can get a $10.00 rebate. Hey, money is money, right?

Right!! I got in on a local Co-op sale, 30-30 at $9.97 and 30-06 at $12 minus the $5 a box rebate. Of course, I just bought that much more ammo!!
Jeez, buying ammo' at the Co-op! That takes me back!
Growing up in south Sask', I remember buying .303 Federal rounds with nylon tips at the bulk feed dealer next to the Greyhound station. Funny thing was that ammo' was actually expensive compared to today's prices. I know there's supposed to be an ammo' shortage but are they really using that many rounds of .45LC in Iraq cuz it went up almost 6 bucks out here!
