Hi guys,

I'm looking for a nice LER scope for my M1A (with forward mount). I've been looking at the ones Marstar has to offer, but they all seem to be meant for pistols only, and I'd like a decent one that can also withstand a .308 round.

Any suggestions?

(I don't need Zeiss or anything high-tech and expensive, as long as it won't lose zero after every shot I'd be pretty happy)

I've been using a Bushnell Trophy 2-6X32 on my Israeli 98k which is 308 without any problem of losing zero. Actually it is on EE now only because I was using it for hunting(2 deer by the way with it)and I want to put the rifle back to original config and give to my Son.

The most common scope we sell for this application is the Leupold FX-II 2.5x28 Scout scope with duplex reticle for $392. I have used this scope on a Steyr scout rifle and found it to be exceptional for fast target response. This is an intermediate eye relief scope with the eye relief being 9-17 in. Most pistol scopes have too much eye relief and do not work properly for this application. Phil.
