Well got a little good news today when I checked my email,I won one of my draws for a first kill antlerless deer tag in a specific zone. Won the same draw last year but didn't end up having a good place to hunt so didn't have any luck tagging out but this year's different as I've found a place for the season.So hopefully I'll be able to get a couple deer this coming season.Bad news is I probably won't be able to get to go up North this month in time for bear season but still can look forward to the fall season.

I know it's a little raw,a man caught having a moment with his first center fire rifle. I'm sure the pics of me and my first deer will be a tad more appropriate.
Yep I think so. A few nice prime fox from last season. Unfortunately didn't get out much this past season and didn't get a single fox as the extremely varied weather really messed with my snaring as well the near drought like conditions we had last year also made the muskrat trapping extra difficult. Was kind of sad to see where just the year before where there were rat runs and where I had taken several rats,were now dry and actually riddled with deer tracks. Hoping this year will be better,both hunting and trapping wise.
