Good part sources?

Hey all.

I'm relatively new to the whole mil-surp thing, and I would love to know where parts can be had for project guns, namely No1MkIII's, No4's, P14's, et all. It seems like there are endless resources available for any rifle that is popular in the U.S., for obvious reasons. So many U.S. sites have little to offer when it comes to finding Enfield parts.

What U.S. sites are good when it comes to shipping to Canada?

I know of Numrich and Brownells, and Boyd's for stocks. How good are they?

Are there any good Canadian sites/gun shops that are a good source for Mil-Surp parts like stocks, barrels, etc?

Thanks for any help.

Also: I bought my last Enfield at a gunshow in St.Catharines, from 'Peninsula Arms'. They had a ton of Enfields and P-14's. Does anyone in the Niagara area know if this a regular gun shop or does it only exist at gun shows?

Also: Any mil-surp friendly gun-shops in Ontario?

Finally: Does anybody know when the next gun shows are going to be? The event thread is pretty quiet. I missed a bunch this month because I was stuck in CFB Gagetown. I'm in North Bay and would be willing to drive anywhere south for a decent show. Any in the Ottawa/Kingston/Peterborough/Toronto/London/Niagara area in the next three months?

You need to start getting a table a local gun show, to show off you Enfields. This way, you can make contact with other collectors, and most will be more than happy to help out a new fellow on the block. I found that Enfield colloctors tend to help each other out, well most of them that is. I don't collect any more, and most of the parts I still have are for long lees or metfords....

Gives you a place to sit. Gets you in before the general public. Lay out the restoration projects with a sign listing what you are looking for. Etc.

I've dealt with Numrich quite abit and have no probs with their service or products .
Another place is Springfield Sporters at ssporters.com.
Anytime I've made a purchase from the States , I made a phone call to be sure they have the part in stock .
If paying by money order , make sure the MO is drawn from a US bank . You'll have to specifically ask for this at your local bank.

Thanks for the advice guys.

Gibbs... did you order the reference manual? How well stocked are they for Enfield parts?
