Does anybody know of a good gun parts dealer in Canada ?
Western gun parts has no catalogues left and no way to search for parts ? How do you order parts from these guys ?
Are there any other parts dealers in Canada ?

Thanks.

A good description of what you need in an email seems to work most of the time..... sometimes if I have the broken part I trace around it and include the actual measurement and fax it to them.

I don't have a better parts supplier anywhere..... but I am not looking for military surplus parts....

Try posting in the 'Parts and Bits' forum. I've come to understand that there is very little that doesn't exist SOMEWHERE within the diverse crew that inhabits this place:D

(beg your pardon if you've already tried that)

Ive been trying to get a catalogue from Western Gun for well over 2 years , they have a good inventory of parts but their phone manners and catalogue supply could use some upgrading .

I agree with above statement. Every time I place an order at Western, the woman ####s on me for using old part #'s. Then when I ask to buy a current catalog with the current part #'s in it, she says they don't have any and doesn't know when a new one is due.

She is incredibly rude, I would like to kick her in her puswa.

She is a bit like the soup nazi on the old Jerry Seinfeld Show. You are not the first to complain about her.

Heh, when I asked about a catalogue from Western, she told me that they don't give out catalogues any more. Because their stock contains so many limited quantities of rare parts it wasn't cost effective to print them.

Which is fine and logical, but the way she said it seemed to indicate that I was a free-loader or a bum.

I went to Numrich for the parts instead.

K&E Gunparts - Saskatoon ( I think)
306-244-2023
306-244-4836 - FAX
Friendly and polite service (opposite of Western)
Sometimes have parts that Western claims they can't find.

i second the K&E recommendation, they've come up with some pretty hard to find items for me and the boys in the past. I inquired once about a mag for an obsolete rifle... they didn't have one. 3 months later i get an email from them saying they just received 4 into stock and would i be interested..... very impressed... i bought all 4 :D

I'm not sure what you're looking for, but I ordered a tube mag inner assembly from Popperts Gun parts in the U.S. with no problems. They list most parts online. When I got the part, I was suprised to find that it was a brand new fabricated assembly, and I thought I was ordering a used one.

I know what you mean, so after a few orders or requests by phone, I switched to fax or email. Works great, prompt results.
As for getting parts, I just fax what I need and they either send it or don't with a note ( I almost always need several parts when I order.)
I am very happy with their prompt delivery.:D

Yes K&E are great i phoned Western got the Nazi Puswa  and was told we threw all them percusion cap shotgun locks out cause you can never match em. Threw them out

Then i phoned K&E they were great asked me to trace the one i had (I was missing one compleat lock) and fax the pic to em.
They found me two identical ones for $25 and they fit perfect.
K&E for me no Western Nazi Puswas.
