Good Place to order pistol ammo?

Hey all

I live in the boonies away from most major centers. I just got my Rpal and I want to buy a gun but I am hesitant due to the lack of local spots for ammunition. I am going to start with a .22 so that will be fine but I was also thinking 9mm and 45acp. I searched on here and found combatmasters.ca but I can't seem to get an email response from them. Anyone have any other ideas where I can get some ammunition and they will ship? Perferably in ontario? thanks,

Marstar ....has or did have 45 ACP. I think they are out of 9mm.

marstar seems to have good deals as i see on their site i also hear wolverine ^^link at top has some good deals on pistol ammo....also as mentioned above wolf bullets in kingstons ells relaoded ammunition at a very good price and i hear it is good stuff although i have not tried it myself....


ive only ever bought 2 Remington UMC 'mega-packs" of 9mm at Ellwood Epps in Orillia Ontario then i started relaoading after which makes it even cheaper than any deal you will find:)....relaoding FTW!!!!:dancingbanana:

I recently put together a large order for Combat Masters (30,000 9mm) Including shipping and taxes it worked out to less then 210.00 per 1000. The total weight was nearly 1000 lbs!

Find some friends and go in on it together.
 
Hey Guys

thanks for the tips. I'll try wolf out and see what they are like. I still haven't gotten a response from combat masters. they must be busy.... I always planned to reload. I am going to buy a dillon 550 but it would be nice to build up some brass to feed it first!!!!:D I never thought to try Wolverine supplies either they are not too far from me as well. thanks,
 
Are wolf bullets available at gun stores, or is it mail order only, can I pick up a few cases from them if I'm in the area to save on shipping?
 
Anybody get large amounts of ammo shipped to them? What is shipping costs/weight for 1k. for example based on your past orders?

Well heard back from Wolf and here are some generic shipping prices.

1 case 9mm - $33.54
1 case .45 ACP - $43.52
1 case of .45 ACP and 9mm while being under 75lbs - $53.59

I looked on the wolf site but could not find a price on 1000 rounds of ready to go 9mm. just found bullets and cases. Where should i be looking?
