Good quality 1-4x24mm scope that won't break the bank

Over on the Rimfire forums Mueller scopes have a pretty large following. In my first hand experience with this (1) scope, I'm very impressed with the quality. It's every bit as good as the CMR in terms of construction and overall quality and costs considerably less. Even the CMR is considered a lower cost sight that is being used by companies such as Krebs and TSD on their custom rifle builds.
Take a look at the Vortex Viper line, another budget scope that is gaining quite the following.
The standards like Leupold offer similar performance as these newer products at a substantially higher price point. Is Leupold over priced? People didn't think so just 10 years ago. Today? Perhaps.
