Good quality airgun?

NOT a Remington Express synthetic. I bought one in .22. Scope is literally useless and would not hold adjustment. Also, every few shots wouldnt even hit the target. I was going to take it back, but decided to rebuild it. The piston seal was mangled from factory assembly (which is apparently the way they all are), I did a tune and will put a Williams peep on it or a proper scope. I hear they are great after sorting them out , but I should have saved the $150 and bought something with out of the box quality. I wanted something cheap though.....and it didn't pay off. I should know better by now.
I have a Benjamin .22 900XL or something, shoots 14.3's at about 900 IIRC. Not the most accurate rifle, springers/gas pistons require a consistent hold and this one is picky. Groups at 20 yards in the 1 to 1-1/4" range with some WTF moments.
I have four Weihrauch rifles, 30S .22 (495 fps) and PAL rated 97KT's in .177 and .22 as well as an HW100T in .22 cal. These are spendy rifles, but well worth it. The fit and finish and accuracy are fantastic. They will last you a LONG time with no buyers remorse. I shoot all but the 30S regularly out to 50 and cutting 3/4" groups in calm conditions is no problem. The 100T will better that, but not relevant since it's PCP.
There are many other great brands, but I can only comment on what I have actually shot.
Like powder burners, testing different pellets will bring out best performance in all air rifles.

How do you fill these?
I have nothing against RWS but the best break barrel is the walther lgv. If you want a magnum springer consider the rws diana 54 airking. Personally I would stick to the Air arms tx200 or the Weihrauch HW 97 in whatever variation of stock you prefer. pcp like accuracy to 30-40 yards without being so hold sensitive.
I've got 2 D34s and both good. You won't be disappointed with a T06. If scoping, buy only a springer rated scope. There's a break in period, one or two tins of pellets usually. Check and snug up the stock screws after each group during break in so you won't have to post threads about accuracy issues. Try various holds after break in to find what your new rifle prefers. Especially with break barrels. My HW97 doesn't give a rip, not so with my D34s. Try a variety of domed pellets to find the best one for your rifle. Springers aren't a simple matter but some of us find that more interesting.
Looked at the TX200 but I need something that can be shot by both a right handed and left handed shoot. So need something with a ambidextrous stock.
You can access chamber right or left on the 97. They're Heavy. Sniped a few squirrels off hand with mine. Most taken from my homemade shooting sticks. I polished the factory spring ends, otherwise factory. Eye of Squirrel at 40 yards with boxed Crosman .177. I use my D34 Panther during snow or spitting out. Otherwise it's the 97 now.
