Good Scope for a Ruger 10/22 Target

i went through a tasco 50 dollar special 3-9x32, it was ok till i knew better

then i got a bushnell 3-9x32 sportsman, 50 yard paralax, 50 bucks again... better than the tasco

last week i purchased a used 4-12x40 Bushnell sportsman with an adjustable objective lense to set paralax. 70 bucks used. the difference is amazing

even though tonnes of people told me not to get a cheep scope, i didnt listen, cost me 100 bucks till i figured it out.

definatally get a scope with an adjustable objective lense (AO)
with the new scope there isnt any fuzzy crosshairs, and i can shoot .5" at 30 yards where i shot 1.25" before with my 10/22

I put a Burris Fullfield II 3-9x 40mm on mine. I've seen this scope with the ballistic plex for $200 new. It's a well made scope with good glass and the ballistic plex reticle is good. The only issue is that you don't have an adjustable objective. For plinking/hunting this won't be an issue if you have a good sight picture. For small groups it does make things more difficult.

For more $$ I would suggest the Falcon scopes. I'll be trying out a 4-14x 44mm on my Target 10/22. The Burris will be going on a 243 hunting rifle (Like I said it's a good scope, I'm keeping it).

Here's some past threads with the Burris set up on the K10/22T.
