Good scope for bad eyes?

Hi to all,

I would like to say I am a newbie when it comes to anything scopes.

Looking for some recommendations for scopes. I have bad eyes and cataracts. Not to sure how far I would need to see. Hunting moose and elk so I would say 100 to maybe 500 yards? Not to sure.

What do you recommend from experience?

I would suggest getting a good quality 3x9 or 2.5x10 scope and seeing how far you can accurately stretch it out on targets. Once you know your scope/eye limits you will have a better idea where you will be in regards to hunting at longer ranges. 500 yards is a very LONG ways out there and with bad eyes that realistically may be a lot farther then you should be shooting at game .................
Know you limits and stay within them.
