Well ,March break, home with kids, what better time to do some off season scouting. Lots of deer signs. More than most years I'd say. And I have been hunting the same area for 14 years. Lots of deer beds with piles of s**t the size of my size 11 work boots. They sure are eating well. Beds show they are starting to molt. They have also started to hit last years salt station. Trails seem to have moved around a bit this year. Probably do to the new neighbour allowing his friends to hunt the ajacent property. Good for us. The deer will have no place to hide

Bedding area. Cant see all, but there were about twenty. More then usual for that area.
And to top it off saw a coyote and two toms on the way in. Have to go again as soon as the snow melts a bit more. Time to but out salt for the deer! and find a good turkey spot.
Man turkey hasn't even started and I am thinking of Deer already
