I just found 1000 rounds of 9 mm for $499.98 at Cabelas. They have free shipping so I think that is a pretty good deal right?
$0.50/round for 9mm is considered high, even by 2023 standards.
Use www.arsenalforce.ca to cross shop all the retailers. You can often find bulk 9mm ammo on sale for as low as $340/1000.

Last 9mm I bought was shortly before the ban, $420 for 2000 rounds of Remington 115 FMJ. I suppose the chances of seeing prices like that again are pretty well zero. Switched to casting and loading my own. It's actually economical now.
