after a prolonged run of definatly un-west coast weather, it was good to see the snow gone and time to hit the range for a day. Seems like the " stir crazy" had hit a lot of people, Abbotsford was busy today for sure.
The wife and I met up with fellow CGN'er Still Alive for a few hours of pistol drills and generally just a good overall day.
The wife and I got to shoot a .45 for the first time( Sig 220), which was also our first experience with the DA/SA, quite different than the striker fired we are used too,lol.
I swear my wife was born to shoot, the groups she is shooting lately are truly impressive for a lady who has been shooting for only 8 months, pisses me right off
She always seems to get a couple of flyers from a clip, but when she concentrates on the basics and thinks about it the girl can shoot.
This is a couple of groups with her FNS9 at around 11 yards
I'm pretty happy with her progress and almost have her talked in to trying steel challenge this spring
After a couple of hours of pistol, the day was ended with a few AR drills, and the wife kicked my butt in a game of " pistol golf"
Great to get back out again after Snowmaggedon, hope you all had a chance to do the same!
