Looking for a bit more mag than a 4x like a 2-7, 3-9, something like that.

Its a steel + bunny shooting gun

looking at the weaver 2.5-7x and the vortex diamondback rimfire.

The vortex should prolly be ignored cause its 14oz to weavers 10.

Anything good that is in the weavers weight range?

hear good things about the muellers. looking for something like a 2-7x with about a 32 objective. voretex diamondback for 200....hmmm..

anyone try one of these?

I have vortex diamondback 4-12x40, very clear glass(surprisingly clear for price), conservative eye relief(shouldn't be a problem for rimfire) BUT parallex is 100yards depending on how accurate you wanna be it will be little off at shorter distances. I considered buying second one for my .22 but ended up with bushnell just because of being able to dial parallex down to 10yards

Nikon has a new 3-9 rimfire scope I think they are around 180.00

I looked at that scope but am not too keen on the circle holdovers. I wish it was a thin reticle with fine hash marks and Id buy it. Like the idea of a decent glass with a .22 LR reticle though...
Im looking to scope a nice .22 in the next month and think I will go with another VX 2 3-9x33 EFR...really liked the one I had a few years back and regretfully sold.

Cheers!!

I have the diamondback 2-7x on a Dlask Dar22 and I can't say enough good things about it. The glass is super clear and is very well built overall. Don't think you'd be disappointed with it. You should also look at the Nikon P-22 if you haven't yet. Nice rimfire scope with a BDC reticle.

Redfield Revolution 3-9x is what I am using.

Made in the Leupold factory as well and has taken all the abuse I've thrown at it.

Been mounted on 22's, .357 lever, SKS, Mosin's & 12 gauge shotguns, still acts perfect and never loses its zero.

Cost me exactly $200+ taxes.

Been used in all weather from +25 to -35 in the winter, snowstorm and rain storm. Never any issues.

Going for the vortex diamondback rimfire 2-7x. Parralax free for bunny ranges(where it matters) and should be fine for everything else Im gonna do.

Thought about that bdc but im not a great shooter. Want to practice hold-overs, turret operation, moa etc..diamondback should be perfect!

Where should I buy this thing?

Take a look at Mueller?

I was going to try the Mueller but there is issue right now to get the silver finish APV 4-14x40 AO I wanted. So in the mean time I picked up a inexpensive Simmons 3-9x32 AO and I'll see how that does once my Burris ZEE rings show up. I'm not expecting much but one thing that I think will be better over the Bushnell I had is the eye relief is a little longer which I needed because of the mounting position on my Marlin 60.

So yes the Mueller would be probably be a good choice for an inexpensive scope.
