Mebbe, Mebbe Not, had to try to utilize it out of respect.... Scope came off of my Dad's Sako Finnbear. Got him a nice Leupy for his aging eyes. Off to the range tomorrow for the trial by fire test.......

I have that same scope. It has always served me well. (in the past, have not shot the rifle it's on for years). Seems set far back, will see when you use it. Nice looking rifle.

You may have parallax issues - to check, set up your rifle solidly in a rest - without touching rifle, look through scope at 50 yard target. Move your eye side to side or up and down - you will likely see the crosshair move on the target. I would expect that Lyman to be set for 150 yard parallax. You might be able to reduce the effect by altering the eyepiece focus - at minimum, be sure to get exactly centered behind the scope.
