Goose and ducks

This guy is! I almost went out on the 20th thinking it was a single day of hunting until I read the regs a little closer, good thing I did LOL. I'll chalk it up to being over excited and my first year being really serious about it!
 
We are ready just picked up a few cases of ammo today at lunch. Also will be doing a skeet practice later tonight for fun. Hope everyone has a great hunt this weekend.
 
Not from Ont but pumped as hell for opening day on PEI a week from tomorrow. New gun, new boat, my pup's first year out and I probably shot 10,000+ shells at skeet this year. I'm ready to go.
 
I was looking at the hunting regs here in Alberta, daily limit on Ross and snow geese is 50 per day, and No Possession limit. Can't imagine cleaning that many birds at once.
 
Can't wait! Last year was my first year, and I was pretty unsuccessful. This year, with a bit of experience under my belt and another year of research, I'm ready! Wish me luck guys! I tell ya, I need to find some friends that hunt.
 
Im more then pumped!! I have been out 4 times for geese and have had lots of luck so far. But im telling you, I have never seen so many ducks in my honey hole as I have so far this year. I'm heading up friday morning to build my blind and Im camping in my spot friday night just to make sure Im ready to pull the trigger at 6:39am! Im going to be pissed if I dont hit my limit in the first couple hours...have plans to spend the rest of the day fishing and hoping to grab a few geese on the evening hunt. Its going to be awesome

Are you hunting alone or are there others in your group? Where abouts do you plan to hunt...by boat, in swamp or on field?

Let me know...i might just have room for one in the camp one of these upcoming weekends. Feel free to PM me
 
Just got permission for a couple fields the geese have been going to. Just finished grassing my blind. And I have my calls out driving the dogs nuts. Safe to say I'm pretty pumped.
 
The great migration is on folks! At the lake right and the groups of duck and geese are flying big time. If the season was open today, could have likely limited out 5-6 times over! Massive groups of teal, wood ducks and mallards. Even seen a couple small groups of black ducks which is a rarity where i hunt. As for the geese..groups by the thousands...but about 1km to high!
 
I am excited for my evening hunt hehe I have stuff to do in the morning but plan to head out around 3 and sit till dark. Buddy will be with me so it won't be a bad sit other then sitting in the swamp in our thermal waters with mid 20s hahah. I did that during goose and was sweating like crazy
