I have a few older hunting partners that can no longer use layout blinds
as well I have a few younger hunting partners that have youngsters that
cant quite sit still in a layout blind
I'm looking for some ideas of building a Cpl frames
for blinds
I'm thinking light weight
portable
easily set up
what do other guys use besides willow blinds???
I have a haybale blind which works well but its not light weight 120 LBS
its bulky and cumbersome to handle and transport

These are pretty slick if you can get over the price

Agreed.

Had the opportunity to hunt out of them this fall and had good success out of them. That being said, you need the right field with certain landscape. As soon as the sun hits them they start casting some filthy shadows and birds get tough.

A friend made one out of concrete reinforcing grid. The corners are sewn with wire so it can fold flat and he wove and tied reed grass for concealment. It don't get much cheaper than that.
