Unless you are metis or first nation you will need a migratory game bird licence and an upland game bird licence, if ontario is the same as manitoba

You need a bird stamp and a small game license. We don't have enough upland birds to warrant having a license for it.

Go to a Canada Post main branch, an in-store type like those at Shoppers won't do. Ask the person behind the counter for a migratory bird stamp. They will fill it out for you, ask a few questions, and your off to the races. Around $17. You'll need this in addition to your small game outdoors card.

Actually a lot of the in-store drugstore Post office Outlets are now carrying them, and they have way better hours too!

That's where my dad picked his up this year, at a Pharmasave in Simcoe.

They do not need your outdoors card either because anyone can buy a migratory bird stamp.
