So my hunting partner(Chisholm) and I got together yesterday and put up ten pounds of Goose jerky. We made about 5 pounds each of two different flavours and species. He did about 5 pounds of Canada Goose in Cabelas original flavour jerky seasoning and I put up about the same in Hi-Mountain Wild Goose Mesquite blend seasoning. After prepping and marinating for 24 hours we got together at his place and loaded up the smoker, sat around watching predator hunting videos and tended to our jerky. Had a great time and ended up with some of the tastiest jerky I have ever had. Just in time to share with family and friends for Christmas too! Such a bonus.

you guys should try Barnell's recipe, I think it's the best ever, I use it on venison and goose jerky. It's posted here somewhere, you make it yourself.
