I'll be taking full advantage of the next goose hunt here in BC. Myself and 10 others are going to be taking as many as possible of the nearly 500 resident geese at the golf course i work at. but as i said they are resident, not migratory and surely not grain fed, so they taste a little fishy...
Last time we did a hunt like this we took over 75 birds and gave them away. but we are now thinking of either making sausage to give back to the hunters, or having them sent away to be processed as sausage for sale (ironically) in the clubhouse.
Any suggestions?
