Ok, so im trying to find ways to utilize more of the geese I bag.
Found many glorious and delicious recipes for legs and thighs but now im looking for ways to turn the tough goose wings into something delicious.
I have done buffalo spicy duck wings before with great results.
Does anyone have any tried and true recipes that work with goose wings other than de-boning and adding to the ground meat pile?

What, nothing... nobody
come on, there has gotta be way to use these.

ok, well after marinating in a brine for the past 48 hours into the cockpot they go.....
will think of something.....

went mushroom picking this morning and got a few nice large puff ball mushrooms,,, will think of a way to combine them and post some pictures when i get a chance.

i havent had them for years,i cant find them here is Sask
anyways, i just wipe any dirt off the puffball, slice it 3/4inch thick
fry in hot butter.
sprinkle of salt
tomato sauce on the side for dipping

as for the goose wing recipe,i just breast the geese, the rest is for bait

goose wing stew with puff ball shroom

ok, here is what i made for goose wings and the puff ball mushroom
goose wing stew with mushrooms and barley.
easy simple and on the fly.
you will need a few skinned goose wings all cleaned up .
toss in the Crockpot overnight with a bit of salt and enough water to cover them.
the next morning you will have a nice goose broth and the meat should be fall off the bone.
in a pot toss in some chopped up onions and whatever mushroom you may have and let it cook for about 5 to 10 minutes until mushrooms have softened up and shrunk.
remove the bones from the crockpot and transfer the meat into the soup pot and add some chopped up celery and carrot.
add some herbs like sage or thyme , ad about 1/2 cup of pearl barley and transfer the goose broth from the cockpot into the soup pot, bring to a boil and let simmer until pearl barley is soft which is about 30 minuets
add salt and pepper to taste and enjoy.
