During (stage 1: Sanded away Factory Toz finish and checkering)
During (stage 2: 4 coats of Dupli-color MetalCast paint, 800grit sanding between coats. Still need to sand with 1000 grit and apply clear coat. Pictures do not do the paint job justice as you can barely see the grain of the wood in the pics, Will try for better lighting with final product)
