Woke up this morning to a beautiful spring day, did the work around the house that needed to be done, after lunch was slotted for yard work....
Sitting eating lunch we were moaning about having to do yard work.... We decided to flip a coin... heads gopher hunting, tails yard work.... I quickly grabbed my handy dandy two headed quarter and and low and behold heads it was! Out came the 22's and a case of shells and off to our favourite hunting spot we went... I got the first gopher of the season!!!! I won I won
well at least between the two of us. We spent a beautiful afternoon helping to clean up the varmint population... Saw hundreds of the big Canada Geese, swans and pelicans as well..
Final count on gophers is a guestimate.... frankly I lost count
