Kind of bad news- we had a late snow in that area and around where I live (Grenfell) there are very few gophers. Usually there were certain places we could go and always find gophers. This year, my professional gopher shooter friend from Ontario and I had to range out to the Gravelbourg area to find any gophers. I made contact with my friend in Gravelbourg and he made a couple of phone calls, found us a good spot to shoot, with the blessing of the farmer. Just this evening we met the Dad of the farm and he gave us another blessing and pointed out another spot we are welcome to shoot on. We started Sunday after lunch, tomorrow (Wednesday) we have to quit early. We have had steady shooting, alternating between .22 and 17 hmr.
