Maybe this belongs in off-topic, I don't know, but here goes:
Got a field which was tore up this spring, and recently disced again. By next day, of course, gophers had dug their way out and were carrying on as normal. Went back few days later and many of the holes had been filled in. Not filled right up, but enough dirt to block them. Appeared that dirt had been pawed in by some animal, but no tracks clear enough to identify.
WTF?
