Anyone know of any good areas for gophers (or ground squirrels I guess) around the Kamloops area?
I understand it may be a private-land-only thing, but I've no idea where I'd start with finding where to do / who to talk to for permission. Background is that I'm heading up to the Roche Lake area with some co-workers to do some camping and fishing in early May. I and at least one of the other guys have bolt-action .22lr rifles, and we were planning to find somewhere to perforate some pop cans. Since we're rarely up in the interior I figured it might be entertaining to throw a few bricks of ammunition at the local vermin population, providing it's even possible.
