If anyone has varmints in general near Edmonton, I and 2 other CGN'rs would love to help. All firearms are NR of course.
Thanks in advance.

Best advice: Drop the xbox controller and climb into your auto and find a rural county with horse/cattle/sheep pasture. Find out who actually owns the property where the livestock graze on natural grasses, far enough away from occuppied houses. Put on your best smile and go door knocking and kindly ask for permission. This will be 110% better than a faceless on-line request from someone whom has never been face to face with the landowner.

Put yourself in thier boots. Would you grant permission to a perfect stranger than you know absolutely zero about? Or would you permit a gentleman who comes to your door and looks and acts respectable from the moment he opens his mouth and once is granted leave to shoot gophers, asks about any hazards or pets he must be aware of, once he's inside your fenceline?

IMHO, you guys are approaching this all wrong. (open that rusty wallet & purchase a landowner map while you are at it)

Where do you get landowner maps from? I moved up to the Red Deer area a few years ago and finally brought my guns up from the farm. Now I'm looking for new gopher spots as all mine are four hours away.

Thanks I never needed one before until I moved up here I lived in Southern Alberta and never had an issue finding a place to shoot gophers down there.

When you go door knocking, leave the homeboy look at home. No hoodies, outlandish t shirts or hang-down pants. A positive first impression is very important.
