gophers in BC ?

Probably already a thread somewhere, but I didn't see it. Any info on where to find good gopher shooting in BC ?

I moved here from Edmonton a couple years ago and MUCH to my dismay, I have not seen any here.

What we need to do is slip across the provincial boundary with a big vacuum truck and make a withdrawl from the gopher bank so that we set up our own gopher patch.

There are gophers in B.C. Its not like sask though where they are everywhere. You gotta go look for them. And when you find them, dont tell anyone.

Come on guys, tell it like it is. "Gophers," Richardson ground squirrels, as well as all types of marmots, are all protected on all crown land in BC.
They may be shot on private farm land, with the written approval of the farmer.
Unless you are a friend of a farmer with them, your chances of being allowed on a BC farm to shoot them are very slim.
