This has been a weird year! Have not got out much at all. I was out in southern Ab yesterday had a good day. We both shot about 150-200 rds of 22 hornet & K hornet. As well as 2-300 22lr. More than I’ve shot all year. The tall grass was a challenge to spot them but where the cattle were heavier grazing we spotted them easy. My buddy shot a very large male badger. We were shooting his home made bullets ( from 22 brass) . I was trying some made from shorts, about 35gr. They worked very well.

No pics but gore score with the hornets was high. The gophers are there but its tough to see them. Much more grass than usual. We plan for June but this year needs a do over! Last year did 3 days and felt cheated as we were only about 3000 for the two of us. Should be that many each. Well there’s next year.
