After reading about the scope on Arf, I set out on a mission to get one. Weeks and weeks, and far too much $ later, it is finally here. I ended up having to get it from Germany, as the US is apparently under the belief that Canadians are terrorists, and can't be trusted with optics 
Anyway, I wantd a scope for my dogging gun, a Ruger Deerfield .44 semi, and the DMS was perfect as it is a true 1X - 4X 30mm tube with an illuminated reticle, which on 1X acts surprisingly close to my eotechs. I wasn't expecting anything great from this scope (It is a Millet after all) but I am pleased to say that I am completely floored by the quality contained in that little box. The optics are crystal clear, the 1X power is a true 1X, the reticle is bright and clear, and the scope looks/feels exceedingly well built. Of course, the real test will bw this week when I put 3-400 rounds of hot .44's down the tube under it, but so far I am very happy.
