got a lead on a '94 375 Win.

I don't think it's worth even that, especially with Marlin's offerings in what in my opinion is a better lever gun. SC is right, get a good source of brass and reloading components. Hey, the exchange forum is full is "ridiculous deals"...here's a used gun for $150.00 more than a new one.....:D

The factory 200 gr up at my local shop are at $60 per box, it ain't cheap feeding them guns but they're fun to shoot. Dies and brass are the way to go in the long run.

I shoot a 375 Win and is is not hard to get brass or reloading components, I also shoot cast gas checked bullets out of mine for some cheaper shooting. The price isn't bad if it really is in excellent condition but I wouldn't pay more than that. Wholesale has the 200 gr ammo for $40.99 a box but I have seen many times it at gun shows for less than $30.00, I reload everything I shoot so that doesn't matter to me. There will always be a "better" gun no matter what you buy but for a Winchester 94 it packs a punch.

Hi,
As per the previous post brass and jacketed bullets are easy to come by. My own .375 loves the Hornady 220 grain flat point and Reloader 7 in Winchester cases. There are also jacketed bullets available from Sierra and Barnes, not to mention casting equipment from Lee and Lyman.
Enjoy this wonderful and particularly underrated cartridge.

I just bought a used 21" barreled single shot s/s T/C Contender carbine in 375 Win off the EE, my reloads of H322 powder with 220gr Hornady JFP's = 2050fps = tight clover leaf 50 yard groups.

I have only had it since Jan 18/09 so haven't had much time to work with it yet I want to try RL 7 it's supposed to give up to another 200fps with this bullet.

I use Reloder 7 in my 375 Win for cast and jacketed loads, here is a bit of info I found online. The Lyman 250 gr. cast load listed is exactly what I shoot.

LEVERGUN LOADS THE .375 WINCHESTER

BULLET, LOAD, MV, 3 SHOTS/50 YARDS

Lyman 250 gr. FNGC, 30.0 gr. Reloder 7 , 1,987 , 1"
Hornady 220 gr. FP, 34.0 gr Reloder 7 , 1,905 , 1 1/8"
Hornady 220 gr. FP, 36.0 gr Reloder 7 , 2,229 , 2"

Folks can say what they want, but fact is a GOOD cond. 94 Big Bore in 375 would sell here on CGN for 500 bucks in about 10 minutes flat ;)

I sold my mint XTR in .356 for 600 bucks and I'm still sick about it.....:bangHead:

Wish I could find one

I have always wanted one but they are always that $500 or better. I always thought they should be around $400 to $475 but cannot find one for that.

I thought it would be a nice bear gun.

I sold one a year ago for 600.00
It was a minty Win 94 XTR .375 The value of all Win model 94's have gone up since they stopped making them. The angle eject 94's are nice for mounting a scope.
great gun, sort of regret selling it although at the time i wanted another rifle. More into bolts.
