Got a P320 with aftermarket trigger, do I still need a PDP?

The 320 and the PDP seem to tick different boxes.
From reviews and research (I have both on the way)
The PDP has the best stock trigger and is designed to be shot with optics, probably better optic mounting than the 320.
The 320 will make up for it in customization and flexibility. That FCU in the 320 means you can have all sort of different guns in the future. B&T BWC will just be the start, and you can switch calibers, change slides and grips etc.
The Walther is just a good duty pistol that needs no upgrades aside from an optic.
If you can afford both, do it, but don’t sell the 320 to get a PDP would be my opinion.

p320 is a must have, there is a company selling complete kits (legion, etc) down in the US, so customization will be endless going forward.

As above, it's clear: If you can afford both, get both. (or two of each)

look up USPSA top production guns: P320 and CZ75 family rule for a reason.
P320, in order of effectiveness: red dot (depends on your eyesight), GG recoil spring guide + spring tuning pack (esp. if you reload. big difference in recoil behaviour), GG trigger kit (nice to have, not critical).
grip is highly individual thing, try before you buy. I’ve held AXG, but never shot with it. Nice shape, fits better than X grip.
a backup barebone P320 is another nice to have, could also pillage the mags from it.

Hi, thanks so much! I checked out the recoil spring guide, I will definitely pick up one of those from grayguns.
Not too sure what the spring tuning pack is, on the grayguns website I saw two items pertaining to the P320: the trigger kit and the FAT guide rod w/ 1911 recoil spring. Do I require a specific spring tuning pack?
Lastly, how did you find the size of the AXG compared to the regular polymer grip? Was it bigger/smaller/similar?

1911 recoil springs are widely available, some companies (Wolff, Eemann) sell sets of various rates, e.g. 10,12,14,16,18 lbs etc.
GG fat rod comes with 15 lbs spring, I think it is too heavy for my 128 PF match ammo (brass ejects half a metre away, and there’s some muzzle dip when the gun cycles).
Nordic Marksman had good prices on GG stuff. Their automated shipping quotes are way too high, better order by phone and ask them to recalculate shipping manually. Great guys.

The X grip just feels weird. I can still shoot it accurately OR fast, but not both, lol. It’s a matter of practice.

I have both. Bought a PDP and then a used regular 320. If I had to choose one it would be the sig. Fit and finish is very good on both. Walther has some nicer features such as better texture on the grip and a better trigger and for me the controls are slightly easier to use. The sig feature of modularity has great value. You could shoot the pistol to death and replace whatever you needed and get a basically new gun. Whenever sig updates the lineup you could theoretically get those updates too.
