Got a Remington 700 sps

223 rem, Picked it up from Parkatol in EE,very nice. I looked all around, can't find 80+ grain ammo, anybody use them? Like them? What about a scope Otis gun, by hands are pretty big im not sure what i need to do to clear the bolt and scope, how high should the scope rings be?

Your 1-9" twist might not spin them. Try the 75gr a-max/hpbt and see what's happens. I had a 1-9 savage that could spiny the 75 amax.

I just added that after it was pointed out I neglected to mention the caliber

You're going to need a 1:7 twist to spin an 80 grain. I also find I have to single load my 80's as they're seated out too far to fit in the magazine. I now have a score Hi single shot follower in my mag to make loading the 80's easier. The 69 grain smk's are flying great out of the savage rifles with 1:9 twist.

Your scope rings should be as low as possible. A 40-44 mm objective can use Med. height a 50 mm and larger needs High rings.
