Got a tree stand from Cabela's on sale

got this tree stand on sale at Cabela's yesterday, and yes it fit in my cherry Taurus and even the trunk lid closed, what a wonderful car, just flipped the wider part of the rear seat down, slid the box through the trunk and there was even room for the large bag of deer feed on top of the tree stand box and the large cooler that I carry for groceries. My doggy had room on the other side of the back seat. I kinda doubt that this 240 lb senior citizen is gonna scurry up there (up to 17 ft, 3 ladder sections) and sit for many hrs and hrs of boredom! It's for the Jr's to bring home the venison while I'm road hunting in my Jeep, nearby!;)

I got the 2 person one last year from the bargin cave. Same brand regular it was 350 something got it delivered to my door in nova scotia for 84$ total. Couldnt say no. Should have bought a bunch of them.

sure do, they come for water from the artisan well, and the salt block and mineral lick and the deer cocaine and the buck jam! We made some new deer feeders, but have yet to install them and fill them up. Got seed to sew 3 acres in the finest deer food known. It's been in summer fallow for a number of years and with a tilling in the Spring, it will be perfect for the seed. The crop lasts up to 5 years, before reseeding is necessary.

wow, awesome bargain, for sure couldn't say no to that price! We got the single seater, and after watching the video that came in the package, I'm glad we did! They say you need 3 adults to work with it! I wonder how many they say one needs for the 2 seater, did ya git a video with yours? I'm almost wondering now, after watching the safety video, I may have not bought it! I know I personally won't be climbing up there. My guys are laughing at the suggested safety precautions, not good!

Got the video but never watched it, right into the garbage it went. Me and my dad put it up by ourselves with ease. Its not that bad at all.

yep, I hear ya! Jr #1 just put this one up all by his-self and did a test climb and a sit and a climb down! Works well! I reckon I'm glad we have it now! He said the worst parts were turning around to sit and turning around to climb down.

Im rigging mine up to have a longer footing platform. Will have hinges on the existing platform and welding on another 18 inches so when the hinges are up you can climb up on into the stand and once up put the other platform down to extend your footing and cover over the ladder.

But but, I'm collecting information on Timoffee's reputation to see if he is a legit sqwartch hunter or not? My contact says he's probably one of the Timoffee's that believes the Millers Hill haunting stories too?! Now I am really going to have to dig further into this......:confused:

ha, I can tell you is just fun'en, yewse in toontown for a bonspeil and tied got tied up with some hookers, right!;), Yeah, I know! That's ok big boy, you have your fun! Don't drag Kelly into this joy ride, aye! He's lite and legite, don't you question that!

A bonspiel here in toontown? T'aint none I am aware of and the hookers is much too 'spensive fer the meager earnings I bring in. I have to use POF(it's free) and look for P.A transplants. That way I can gather information on KT while getting my oil changed at the same time......only trail groomers have enough $$ for hookers!! :d
 
what..............., I thought you live large out there! Living large includes a hooker every now and again! I'm the one that can't afford that luxury! Trail groomers don't get any pay, hell, not even a free lunch at the diner that groom by! I think Kelly is gonna be less than happy when he finds out what you're doing behind his back! Be careful, my friend, that is very thin ice you're walking on! I know all about thin ice, as you know!
