hello,

I live in Mississauga and recently got my PAL. It only seemed logical to get the Glock 17 as my first gun. Light, easy to handle, and overall nice start up :) My more experienced friends keep suggesting that i should buy a rifle next, something like a Ruger... logical? perhaps... but when i tried Beretta Cx4Storm it was love at the first "grip"!

Did anyone else have this magical experience? I would appreciate ANY advice on the subject!

An advantage of getting a .22rf rifle first is that its cheep to shoot and cheep shooting means lots of practice. Its easier to build skills than unlearn bad habbits.

I love my Storm, but in any calibre its going to be 3-5x more expensive to shoot than a .22rf rifle. And with the Storm running around $850-ish, you could buy a .22rf rifle (say a Savage Mrk II BV, CZ452 or 10/22) and .22rf pistol (Ruger Mrk II) for the price of one Storm.
